HARRISBURG, PA (December 21, 2022) — Emily Lingle, PSECU’s Member Experience Manager, has been selected to receive the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg’s 2023 Tribute to Women of Excellence award.

The Tribute to Women of Excellence award recognizes outstanding women in the Capital Region who devote time and energy to making the organizations and communities with which they’re affiliated better places to work and live.

“It was my pleasure to nominate Emily for this award,” said Barb Bowker, Chief Member Experience Officer and 2014 Tribute to Women of Excellence recipient. “In both her professional and personal life, Emily provides a strong, positive example for others to follow and truly illustrates what it means to be a Woman of Excellence.”

With PSECU since 2018, as PSECU’s Member Experience Manager, Lingle is responsible for the creation and innovation of intuitive and useful products through an understanding of consumer reactions and behavior to ensure an outstanding PSECU member experience.

Outside of PSECU, her work in the community is prolific and she embodies the credit union motto of “people helping people” in the work she does. Lingle has been involved with Junior Achievement, Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA, the LEAF Project, League of Women Voters, United Way, Central PA Food Bank, PA Career Link, the Alzheimer’s Association, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and many local community theaters. She also co-founded a parents’ resource-sharing group for LGBTQ families and prospective parents serving the Central PA area.

“Emily is a wonderful asset to PSECU,” remarked her supervisor Lindsay Oparowski, PSECU Director of Member Experience. “In her role she is consistently sought out for her ability to synthesize complex information and connect the dots from an internal process to see it from the member’s perspective. She is curious, collaborative, and always finds a creative solution to make the experience better for our members and employees.”

Emily Lingle, PSECU Member Experience Manager was named as a 2023 Tribute to Women of Excellence designee.
