STCU promotes Myhre to VP of Finance

(March 16, 2015) — Lindsey Myhre, a 15-year STCU employee, has been promoted to Vice President of Finance.

CEO and President Tom Johnson said Myhre is an integral part of STCU.

“Lindsey is an innovator,” said Johnson. “She has been a part of our tremendous growth and I foresee great things for her in this new role.”

Myhre grew up in Colville, Wash. She and her husband, Aaron, have two children. She loves working for the Spokane-based credit union that serves all of Washington and North Idaho.

“I love the smiling faces, the warmth and the caring I feel every day when I come to work,” said Myhre. “I have a passion for the credit union.”

Myhre has worked for STCU since 2000, most recently as director of accounting and finance. She started as an accounting assistant and quickly began moving up the ranks.

She holds a degree in business administration (finance emphasis) from Western Washington University. She currently is seeking her master’s degree from Western Governor’s University.
