UHFCU converts to new keystone core system

HONOLULU, HI (July 2, 2015) — Independence Day has a bit more meaning for the University of Hawai`i Federal Credit Union (UHFCU) as it successfully converted to a brand new, state-of-the-art core system. The Credit Union replaced a more than 20-year-old legacy platform with Corelation Inc.’s Keystone, which offers a modern, member-centric solution.

UHFCU had been planning the upgrade for the past two years as part of its overall strategy, conducting extensive research to determine the best fit for its members’ needs. Originally scheduled for completion over three days, the conversion process went so smoothly that select services, such as Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and Debit Cards, were available earlier than anticipated.

“We’re so pleased with the improved efficiencies and capabilities the new system provides; we were eager to make services available to our members as early as possible. Our team worked very diligently throughout the transition, allowing us to do just that. Now, we can continue to deliver our exceptional member service along with market-leading products and services,” said Jeanine M. Morse, UHFCU President and CEO. “While many of the true benefits are happening behind the scenes, this evolution in technology will translate into an even more impressive Credit Union experience for our members. We’re really embracing a new UHFCU.”
