United Heritage Credit Union donates thousands of school supplies

United Heritage hosts school supply drive to help local children in need

AUSTIN, TX (September 7, 2023) — Recently, the United Heritage Credit Union provided school supplies and backpacks to two charitable organizations that work in the community to support families and children in the Central and East Texas areas. The deliveries marked the success of the School Supply Drive hosted by United Heritage in which employees and members contributed thousands of school supplies to a great cause. The School Supply Drive was part of a quarter-long focus on education initiatives.

United Heritage, its members, employees, and the local community collected and dropped off various supplies and backpacks at United Heritage’s branches and corporate office over a few weeks to donate to SAFE (Austin, Texas) and PATH (Tyler, Texas). In total, they donated over 2,500 supplies and backpacks. Both organizations are previous donation partners of the United Heritage Charity Foundation and will be providing them to families and children in need. These contributions and the efforts made are one of the ways that United Heritage serves the community.
