Stay connected to Washington with NAFCU’s Virtual Caucus

Looking to stay politically active amid the coronavirus pandemic? NAFCU is revamping its annual Congressional Caucus to a virtual event to ensure credit unions across the country can connect with lawmakers and regulators on key credit union issues at the federal level.

“NAFCU is proud to announce that our 2020 Congressional Caucus event will take place virtually,” said NAFCU Executive Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel Carrie Hunt. “Amid the pandemic, NAFCU and credit union leaders will join together to push our bold advocacy agenda forward to deliver strong results for our industry and its 121 million members. Attendees should also expect to hear from prominent Washington officials and policymakers while learning how these decision makers will help shape the future in Washington.”

The 2020 Congressional Caucus will no longer occur in person; it will be held entirely virtually Sept. 14-15. The outstanding content of one of the industry’s biggest government affairs events isn’t changing – credit union leaders and advocates will still hear directly from influential representatives, senators, and policymakers.

In addition to hearing from speakers from the administration and members of Congress, this year’s caucus will feature a closing keynote from respected political analyst Dr. Larry Sabato with his insights into the upcoming presidential election, voting trends, political landscape, and more.
