The CUInsight Network podcast: Advocacy & compliance – NAFCU (#57)

Featuring Dan Berger, President and CEO at NAFCU

Thank you for tuning in to episode 57 of The CUInsight Network, with your host, Lauren Culp, Publisher & CEO of CUInsight.com. In The CUInsight Network, we take a deeper dive with the thought leaders who support the credit union community. We discuss issues and challenges facing credit unions and identify best practices to learn and grow together.

My guest on today’s show is Dan Berger, President and CEO at NAFCU. Dan has been a guest on The CUInsight Experience podcast and in this episode, we are diving into his experience with NAFCU and the amazing work they do. The team at NAFCU advocates for credit unions nationwide by interacting with government officials and policymakers. NAFCU is committed to representing, assisting, educating and informing credit unions to help them grow and continue serving their members.

During our conversation, Dan and I chat about NAFCU’s mission to support their members through advocacy, compliance assistance, and education and training. We discuss regulation and legislation as it relates to current events and how credit unions set themselves apart. Dan talks about the culture at NAFCU that values and enhances extreme member service to help credit unions support members and communities. As we look to the future, NAFCU is focused on advocacy and creating a legislative and regulatory environment for credit unions to thrive and grow.

As we wrap up the episode, Dan talks about buying fly fishing rods, being present for his family, and having fun in Nashville. Enjoy my conversation with Dan Berger!
