An inventor at heart with an entrepreneurial spirit, Jamie came up with the idea for the world’s first video doorbell, Ring, in his garage. Despite a failed Shark Tank pitch during which Jamie did not secure a deal from the sharks, he didn’t stay down for long.
How did Jamie come back? He and his team doubled down on their mission: to make neighborhoods safer. He went on to turn Ring into a whole-home security powerhouse that sparked Amazon’s $1 billion investment in 2018.
