Sean McDonald is the President of Your Full Potential, LLC and the Founder of ABSURD! Leadership. He is a highly regarded speaker at national and international conferences for the credit union industry at which he has addressed thousands of credit union executives, directors, and employees. Sean was an employee of credit unions (specializing in business development, marketing, sales, and culture) before branching out on his own.

Some of his clients include Credit Union National Association, CUNA CPD, CUNA Councils, CUES, NAFCU, NCUA, the World Council of Credit Unions, and CU Conferences, Inc.

Sean has presented for several credit union leagues and associations both in the United States and internationally and has also conducted strategic planning, consulting, and training sessions for dozens of individual credit unions throughout the country.

He has written extensively on many professional and personal growth topics and his work has been published in a variety of newspapers, trade magazines, and industry publications. He has been interviewed and featured in Credit Union Times, Credit Union Journal, CU Insight, and others. He is the author of two books: Stop Complaining! Start Growing! Lessons on Growing Your Business & Career & What’s In It For Me? The Driving Force Behind Making Decisions & Better Leadership. Both are available on Amazon.

He is a member of the National Speaker’s Association and the American Society for Training & Development. He is the Past Chair of the Executive Committee of the Credit Union National Association’s Marketing & Business Development Council and is a contributor to various advisory boards and task forces around the industry.

In March 2008, he was the recipient of the Business Development Professional of the Year Award from the Credit Union National Association’s Marketing & Business Development Council.

In August 2013, Sean was named a Trailblazer Below 40 by Credit Union Times.

Sean lives in Kingwood, TX with his wife and two children.
