Credit Unions Vote launches in advance of 2024 election cycle
CUNA launched Credit Unions Vote with just under a year to go until the Nov. 5, 2024 election, a campaign designed to foster credit union involvement in the 2024 election cycle. It focuses on getting credit union members to vote and is centered around the newly updated CreditUnionsVote.com.
“Elections impact the financial well-being of credit union members and communities across the country, and this campaign is designed to tie in credit unions’ mission with civic engagement,” said Trey Hawkins, CUNA deputy chief advocacy officer for political action. “Throughout the election cycle we’ll be reaching out to credit unions, providing them with resources to encourage their members to get out the vote, and provide a website where members can get all their voting information.”
CreditUnionsVote.com includes information on voter registration, primary dates, polling locations, and get information on early and absentee voting. It also contains a feature to allows users to get reminders of upcoming election dates.
