CU leaders gather in CA for industry-leading event

Hundreds of credit union leaders and industry professionals are traveling to Long Beach, Calif., to join NAFCU for the premier credit union event of the year: Engage 2023: NAFCU’s Annual Conference. NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger will welcome attendees tomorrow; the conference concludes Friday.

“Credit unions remain steadfast in their communities, offering safe, secure, and reliable financial services to millions of Americans who need them most,” said Berger. “Our Annual Conference is designed to give credit union leaders insights into current trends, and equip them with the knowledge and resources needed to thrive well into the future. At the end of the week, attendees will leave inspired and ready to take their institutions to new heights.”

Today, the association holds its member-only Annual Business Meeting.

Following Berger’s welcome address tomorrow, author and motivational speaker Jon Petz will present the opening keynote on “transforming mundane moments into something significant, memorable, and magical” to positively impact people’s lives. After a full day of sessions, best-selling author and speaker Shep Hyken will deliver a keynote address on strengthening the member experience.
