Leverage a Biz Kid$ grant to improve youth financial futures

Most people have heard of Bill Nye the Science Guy, the quirky youth education program focused on teaching kids about science in a fun and engaging way – but have you heard of Biz Kid$?

Produced by the same people as Bill Nye, Biz Kid$ brings the same fun and energy to teach kids about money, finances, and entrepreneurship. The initiative includes an award-winning TV series, free classroom curriculum, outreach activities, and a website (bizkids.com) targeting children 9 – 16 years old.  The number one goal of the Biz Kid$ financial literacy initiative is to teach kids from upper elementary through high school to understand and incorporate the skills they need to successfully manage their financial lives.

The Foundation is a firm believer in teaching financial education to the next generation of consumers, and is the champion of the Biz Kid$ program. Biz Kid$ is unique as it is fully funded by America’s credit unions, with each episode beginning and ending with the message, “Brought to you by America’s credit unions, where people are worth more than money.”
