Measuring workplace effectiveness research

SEATTLE, WA (October 16, 2014) – A recent study by global research firm Gallup estimates that disengaged employees could cost American companies as much as $550 billion a year (360 Magazine, Issue 68). Other studies have shown that an effective workplace environment, which fosters collaboration and innovation while respecting the privacy of individuals, can reduce those costs over time.

Momentum, a national design-build firm, has designed a set of simple survey questions that will assess financial institutions’ workplace effectiveness as a part of research to study how the physical working environment contributes to positive effects on employee productivity.

The survey is open for submissions until October 26, 2014. The results of the completed survey will be available in November on Momentumbuilds.com.
